Weston Rail Services (WRS) is a leading provider of comprehensive maintenance and engineering solutions, established in 2012. Our company is dedicated to delivering top-tier electrical and maintenance solutions, backed by a strong team of experienced professionals.
We specialize in a range of services, including electrical works, LED lighting installations, and energy-saving equipment deployment. Our commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency makes us a trusted partner for large-scale commercial projects.
Our Team
We have a team of 25 employees, who are supported by specialist contractors.
Our History
Weston Rail Services was founded by Andrew Dixon, an accomplished electronic and electrical engineer with extensive experience in the telecoms industry. Before establishing WRS, Andrew traveled the world as a trainer, providing expert instruction on electronics and electrical installations. His work also included the installation of energy-saving equipment in prominent establishments such as McDonald’s and various garden centers.
In 2015, WRS conducted a successful trial for GWR, installing LED lighting in back-of-house areas. This success led to a pivotal meeting with GWR, resulting in Integral approaching WRS to collaborate on the GWR contract. Since then, WRS has consistently met all maintenance requirements for GWR, solidifying our reputation for reliability and excellence.
Originally trading as Panda Telecom, the company rebranded to Weston Rail Services to better reflect its expanded scope and capabilities in the rail and maintenance sectors. This rebranding underscores our commitment to providing exceptional service and expertise in all our projects.
Equipment
Vehicle fleet
We have a continuous program to update to newer and more efficient vehicles until electric or other advanced technologies become available to meet our requirements
Mess van/mess facility
This vehicle is used when on-site facilities are unavailable to our engineers.
MEWPS
We have access to a range of MEWPs and Scissor lifts including van mounted versions to cover most job requirements.
Luton Box van
This vehicle is useful for transporting long and bulky materials to site.
Tipper
This vehicle is used to carry bulk materials to site and to remove any job waste to ensure operations are left clean and tidy.
